Lowellville - Carolyn Terrago, 88, of Lowellville, died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Hospice House. Mrs. Terrago was born Saturday, December 13, 1919 in Lowellville, Ohio, a daughter of Andrea and Giovanna Parisi DiFusco. She was a lifelong area resident of Lowellville until moving to the Blackburn Home in Poland this year. She was a 1938 graduate of Lowellville High School and retired from her job in 1986. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Mrs. Terrago was a seamstress and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also had a love for music. She leaves her three daughters, Madelyn "Lana" (Rich) Bogden of Kernersville, NC, Jayne (Mark) Palombaro of Carmel, Indiana, Debbie Terrago of Houston, Texas; a son, Joseph A. Panici of Macomb, Illinois; a daughter-in-law, Bella Panici of Lowellville; a sister, Carmella "Boots" Marshall of New Castle, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Anna Marie DiFusco of Edinburg, Pa.; six grandchildren, Anthony Panici, Lisa (David) Leone, Jennifer, Eric, and Jason Bogden and Abby Palombaro; four great-grandchildren, Vincent, Giovanna, Dante, and Isabella Leone; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert A. Panici; three sisters, Anna Ambrosia, Mary Morell, and Irene "Weenie" Colucci; and one brother, Thomas DiFusco. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church with Rev. G. David Weikart officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at the Blackburn Home and the Hospice House for the wonderful care they gave to Mrs. Terrago.
