POLAND - Caroline J. Johnson, 80 of Poland, died Tuesday, February 15, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Boardman.
Mrs. Johnson was born January 8, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Emma Wunderlich Mound, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1949 graduate of the Poland Seminary High School. Caroline enjoyed traveling, baking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her husband of 48 years, Richard F. Johnson, whom she married May 31, 1952 died June 27, 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Johnson, with whom she made her home; a son, James (Melinda) Johnson of Austintown; two grandchildren, Lauren and Kevin Johnson both of Austintown ; two brothers, John Mound of New Middletown and Charles Mound of Hubbard.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Donahue.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are begin handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland.
