Boardman - Carol E. Siefert, 65, of Boardman, died late Tuesday evening at her daughter's residence.
Carol was born January 22, 1947 in Youngstown, a daughter of Elmer and Frances Blaney Hall. She was a life-long area resident.
Carol attended Woodrow Wilson High School and worked at the SciotoCompany as a cleaning supervisor for Home Savings and Loan, Downtown, Youngstown.. She enjoyed crafts, writing, gardening, cooking, baking, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
Her husband John Siefert, whom she married February 19, 1988, died September 21, 2008. She is survived by her son, James Lealand of Monaco, PA; daughter, Heather (Rev. Jeffery) Street of Boardman; brother, James (Marilyn) Hall of Youngstown; six step-daughters, Janie, Cindy, Mindy, Debbie, Joanie, and Jeanie; twenty-two grandchildren; and her companion, Walter "Snookie" Oswick.
Besides her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by her son, David Hall; step-daughter, Missy; and sister, Georgia Rose Hall.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 2:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, with Carol's son-in-law, Rev. Jeffery Street officiating.
Friends will be received Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
