Canfield - Carol Ann Page, 72, of Canfield, died of complications from a stroke, Thursday evening, July 16, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Also affectionately known as "MamaCat", Carol was born October 22, 1942 in Beaver Falls, PA, a daughter of FRED and Helen (Guy) Ehrenberg.
Carol was a 1961 graduate of Beaver Falls High School. After high school, she worked as an Executive Secretary at Geneva College. She served on the Beaver Falls Area Civic League as Publicity chairman, and also volunteered time with the Easter Seals.
Carol worked many years at the AAA Auto Club, where she was nominated on several occasions as the Associate of the month; wherein the Award made mention of how her infectious smile and charming attitude made her a real jewel in the office and with customers. Carol, truly being that sparkling jewel, later stepped into a Fine Jewelry/Specialist position at J.C. Penneys, where she also received Top Sales Awards and Recognitions.
Momacat was an avid animal lover and nature supporter. While traveling and exploring were some of her favorite things to do, Carol enjoyed gardening, creating exquisite flowers arrangements, and shopping at various locales. She was a craft/hobby enthusiast with a unique talent as an extreme designer.
Carol was a member of Highway Tabernacle.
Left to cherish her memory and sweet spirit, are her husband Rocky Page, whom she married in 1980, a daughter, Andrea Hoffman of Boardman; a son, Brian Hoffman of Youngstown; step-son, Rocky (Janet) Page of Canfield; step-daughter, Marlo Tabor also of Canfield; two brothers, Dale Ehrenberg of Enon Valley, Robert (Elaine) Ehrenberg of Darlington, PA; one sister-in-law, Norma Ehrenberg, also of Darlington, PA; two grandchildren, Lexie Page and Tyler Tabor; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother Donald F. Ehrenberg.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman with Pastor Gary Gray officiating. Interment will follow at the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Friends will be received today from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home, 8536 Market Street, Boardman.
