Carol V. McKenney

Canfield - Carol V. McKenney, 78, formerly of Poland, died January 30, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. McKenney was born December 10, 1935 in Yougstown, a daughter of Emil and Florence Thomas.
She was a 1953 graduate of Boardman High School. She was a member of Woodworth Church of the Brethren, where she was church secretary for 20 years and sang in the choir. Carol also was secretary for a few doctors in the area. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and crossword puzzles.
Her husband, David Marvin McKenney, whom she married June 5, 1955, died January 8, 2011.
She is survived by three sons, David McKenney of Poland, Daniel (Joy) McKenney of Canfield, and Derek (Kimberly) McKenney of Austintown ; two grandchildren, Samuel (Tricia) McKenney of Solon and Joshua McKenney and his fiancé' Heather Stybel of Twinsburg; and one great-grandson, Aaron.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death one brother, Ralph Thomas.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday 7:00PM at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland
Friends and family will be received one hour prior.
