Carol A. Long, 59, of West Farmington, OH, died on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Ames Family Hospice following an extended illness. She was born in Youngstown, OH on November 23, 1955 to the late, James A. and Mary Cabuno.
Carol was a former employee of Federal Wholesale in Hubbard and Phar-Mor in Boardman. She loved music, going to concerts and was an avid dog lover. She donated to and volunteered at the VFW, Paralyzed American Veteran's, ASPCA and the Mosquito Lake Dog Park Friends (MLDPF).
She leaves her husband, John "Dan" Long of West Farmington; son, Jason D. Long of Delaware, OH; daughter, Danielle Lyn Long of Cleveland; two brothers, James P. Cabuno of Boardman and Theodore (Karen) Cabuno of Youngstown; her uncle, Nicholas Cabuno; aunt, Mary Lou Tiberio; two nieces, Nicole and Mary; a nephew, Theodore; her 2nd mom, Joyce Bradshaw; several cousins and her dog Charlie.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ames Family Hospice House and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 7pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St. Struthers. Visitation will be prior to the service from 5-6:45pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
