Columbiana - Carol J. Jones, 71, died July 9, 2016 in her daughter's home in Berlin Center. She was born February 9, 1945 in Youngstown, daughter of the late, George and Anne Fossaceca Seefred.
Carol was a 1963 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. She was employed as a secretary with Vision Center in Boardman for over 20 years and was a member of the West Side Bridge Club. Carol was an avid Pogo player, loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and always enjoyed a good political debate.
She leaves her two daughters, Kimberly (John) Hladun of Berlin Center and Jennifer (Mark) Tarntino of Port Orange, FL; three grandchildren, Kayla Ruffner, Cody Hladun and Christian Squibbs; two step grandchildren, Joe and Melissa Hladun; two sisters, Pat (Larry) Day of St. Catherine's, Canada and Linda (Carl) Gianoglio of Columbiana; several nieces and great nephews and her best friend, Kevin Burns of Boardman.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton F. Jones III in 1981; her son, Clinton F. Jones IV, and her grandson, Kyle Ruffner.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Hope Center for Cancer Care and to Hospice of the Valley.
In honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
