Carol Susan (Kinney) deBlois

Boardman - Carol Susan deBlois, 71, died February 12, 2017 in Caprice Health Center. She was born July 21, 1945 in Baltimore, MD, to the late John and Ludmilla Kinney.
Carol was a graduate of Towsen Catholic High School in Baltimore. She went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in English with a minor in Education and History from St. Joseph's College also in Baltimore. Carol then went to the University of Iowa where she earned her Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance, Master's Degree in Social Work, and her PhD in Education Administration. She was employed at Youngstown State University for 30 years, with her last position being as an Associate Professor of the Education Administration Research and Foundations.
She leaves her son, John (Lynnette) deBlois of Boardman; grandchildren, Breanna, Imogen and Kaelyn deBlois; and two sisters, Janet Kinney and Martha Kinney-Sedgewick.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 6pm at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. in Boardman.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 5-5:45pm on Friday at the funeral home.
The family would like to extend an invitation to all in attendance to join them for a dinner following services, at the Becker Family Center.
