Poland - Carol Ann Danicic, 63, of Poland died Friday, September 28, 2007 in Hospice House. Miss Danicic was born September 21, 1944 in Mantua, OH, a daughter of Frank and Kathryn Krett Danicic, Sr. She was a 1962 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and received her Bachelor and Master degrees from Youngstown State University. Miss Danicic taught first, second, and third grade at St. Luke Catholic School for 43 years. She began her teaching career there when the school opened. She was a member of Holy Family Church and a former member of its Garden Club. She was also a member of the International Reading Association. She will be remembered for her artistic talents and her dedication to her students. Miss Danicic leaves her mother, Kathryn Danicic of Youngstown; one sister, Marlene (Richard) Protiva of Poland; one brother, Richard (Elizabeth) Danicic of Bethel Park, PA; four nephews, Richard, Christopher, and David Danicic and Richard Protiva; and one niece, Ashley Danicic. In addition to her father, Miss Danicic was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathryn and Elaine Danicic; and one brother, Frank Danicic, Jr. Funeral services will be held at Holy Family Church, Monday, October 1, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. William J. Connell and Rev. Joseph Fata officiating. Interment will follow in the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
