VIENNA-Carlos Edward Sanchez, age 6, died August 5, 2009, in California.
Carlos was born January 8, 2003, in Florence, KY, son of Juan Sanchez and Alicia Sanchez.
He loved the Power Rangers, Transformers, playing soccer with his friends and cousins, swimming, sudoku puzzles, and playing his Nintendo DS. He also loved eating at Chipotle, and traveling, to Venezuela, Puerto Rico and all over the US. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, he leaves his maternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Lynn Buckner of Vienna; paternal grandfather Juan D. Sanchez, of Santa Fe, New Mexico, maternal great-grandparents, Edwin and Mary Ann Johnston of Struthers, and Glen West, of Vienna, Sonny and Marquitta Misciskia of Liberty, and a great-great grandmother, Pearl Toto of Struthers. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Amatista Saturno, and a maternal grandfather, Edward Johnston, maternal great-grandmother, Vivian West, and his paternal great-grandmother, Aura Hernandez.
Family and friends will be received Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Matthew Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions my be given in Carlos name to the Struthers Federal Credit Union, 964 Fifth Street, Struthers, OH 44471.
