Pulaski, PA - Carl B. Stevens, 52, passed away on May 16, 2018 at his home in Pulaski, PA.
Carl was born April 5, 1966 in Bloomfield, a son of the late Richard and Joyce (Grey) Stevens.
As a young child, Carl and his family moved to Vanderbilt, PA. There he grew fond of the outdoors and developed a passion for farming. As a teenager, he worked for the farmer down their road for several years. His family later relocated to Paxico, Kansas, where Carl found a different kind of farming. He worked on a catfish farm for four years until his family moved to Lyndora, PA, where he graduated from Butler High School. Although, Carl never got to live his dream as a farmer, he always enjoyed the great outdoors and loved all animals.
Carl was employed at the Butler Memorial Hospital as a line cook and later as a forklift operator for Young's Galvanizing in Pulaski from 1998, until his passing.
A dedicated son, Carl lived with his mother for many years, taking care of her until her passing in 2015. In his free time, Carl enjoyed riding dirt bikes, camping, cooking, and traveling with family.
Carl leaves four brothers, Richard (Barbara) Stevens of Youngstown, Eugene (Jamie) Stevens of Cocoa, FL, James Stevens of New Castle, PA, and Robert (Gwen) Stevens of Lowellville; two special aunts, Carol Lee Morris of Newell, PA and Betty Baptiste of Herman, PA; along with a host of many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland, where family and friends will be received on Sunday from 3-4:45 p.m., prior to the service.
