Charles âa�A"Cappyâa�A� Benzenhoefer, 72 Poland- Charles âa�A"Cappyâa�A� Benzenhoefer, 72 of 6859 Clingan Road died Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mr. Benzenhoefer was born in Poland December 8, 1931, a son of LaVergne and Laura C. Jones Benzenhoefer. He was a truck driver for Erskine Trucking and later retiring from Eazor Trucking in 1983. After retirement he spent the rest of his years restoring Mercedes Benz classic automobiles. He was a member of the Struthers VFW Post #3538, Saint Anthonyâa�a��s in Struthers, and the Johnson Club in Hillsville Mr. Benzenhoefer was a veteran of the United States Navy during WW II. He leaves his wife, the former Barbara C. Colaric, whom he married December 24, 1965; five sisters, Patricia L. Benzenhoefer of Youngstown, Charlotte J. (Joe) Huffman of Cresson, TX, Diana R. Bonish of Poland, Ellen S. (Russell) Schaefer of New Waterford, and Ida M.. (Bob) Swesey of New Springfield; five brothers,Thomas L. (Carol) Benzenhoefer of Poland, David J. (Joyce) Benzenhoefer of Cranfils Gap, TX, Gary L. (Anita) Benzenhoefer of Florence, TX, Ronald E (Johanna) Benzenhoefer of Austintown, and Kenneth W. (Sharon) Benzenhoefer of Fort Worth, TX.; several nieces and nephews; and several great- nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Benzenhoefer. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Monday 5-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be giver to Hospice of the Valley or the American Cancer Society.
