Brian Reed Scott

New Springfield - Brian Reed Scott, 50, died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, July 18, 2017 at his residence of an apparent heart attack.
Brian was born March 28, 1967 in Alliance, OH, a son of Thomas Scott and Ann Fitzsimmons Scott.
A 1985 graduate of Boardman High School, Brian was a truck driver for Waste Tech and later Ohio Valley. Brian loved the outdoors and hunting. He was the epitome of a backwoodsman and could craft anything from nature including handcrafting Native American archery equipment. He also loved riding his motorcycle. Brian was very proud of his Irish Scottish heritage. Brian was so outgoing he never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Brian leaves to cherish his memory, his father Thomas (Ann) Scott of Alliance; his mother, Ann Scott of Berlin Center; the love of his life of 25 years, Dawn Sattarelle with whom he lived with; one son, Daniel (Cathy Shirey) Scott of Leetonia; two brothers, Bruce (Julie) Scott of Austintown and Robert Scott of Berlin Center; one grandson, Eric Shirey; one nephew, Hunter Scott; Dawn's father, Patrick Sattarelle; and Dawn's six brothers and sisters as well as nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 4:00 p.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market Street with Deacon Paul Lisko officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
