DUBOIS, PA. - Brian Scott Beck died Dec. 5, at his home in Dubois.
Brian was born May 19, 1957, at the Naval Hospital on the Marine Base at Quantico, Va.
He graduated from Canfield High School in 1975, where he was a member of the Canfield Wrestling Team and he was the E.O.W. League champion in his weight class, along with winning several other tournaments.
He graduated from Ashland College in 1979, and earned his M.B.A. from Texas A&M in December of 1986.
Brian was employed by Kimball Midwest Industries as sales representative.
He was an active member of the Christ Lutheran Church in Dubois, where he lead an adult Bible Study class.
He regularly attended the Dubois YMCA, enjoying weight-lifting and exercising. He enjoyed a number of outdoor activities like fly-fishing, biking, scuba diving and underwater photography. He traveled extensively, including Alaska, Fiji, South America, Belize and others.
Brian is survived by his parents, Dolores and Loren Beck; brother Douglas Beck (Donna); nephews, Trevor and Marshall; sister Wendelyn Larrimore (Kevin); and nieces, Lindsay and Allie.
He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at the Bethel Lutheran Church, Dec. 27, with visitation at 10 a.m. and services beginning at 11 a.m.
The family requests that memorials be given to the Bethel Lutheran Church, Butler Institute of American Art or charity of your choice.
