Youngstown - Beverly Mae Hoskin, 62, passed away peacefully, Monday morning, September 10, 2012 at her home, with her family at her side.
Beverly, affectionately known as "Bev" was born May 3, 1950, a daughter of the late Robert and Edna Sinclair. Upon her marriage, Bev moved to the Youngstown area.
She was a graduate of Montour High School. Bev worked at Hardee's and Vic and Syl's Restaurant in Struthers for 20 years and was currently working at Nemenz IGA for the past five years in the deli.
Bev enjoyed shopping and cooking, trying many recipes on her family from the cooking shows that she often watched on television. Most of all, she loved being a grandma to Sapphire and Jayden.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas J., whom she married October 14, 1972; her daughter, Lori Hoskin of Boardman; 2 grandchildren, Sapphire Menton and Jayden Harris; siblings, Carol, Lynn, and Bobby, all of the Pittsburgh area; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Dorothy Hoskin of Austintown; and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where a prayer service will follow at 7 p.m.
The family requests that gifts take the form of contributions in Bev's name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512.
