Betty L. MacKondy. Polandâa�"Betty MacKondy, 71, passed away Saturday at 12:45 PM after and extensive battle with lymphoma cancer. Mrs. MacKondy was born December 28, 1933 in Struthers, a daughter of Walter & Bessie Allen McDonald. Betty was a 1951 graduate of Struthers High School, a homemaker and held a real estate license. She was a former employee of the Ohio Bell Company. She leaves her husband, Patrick whom she married December 29, 1954. They were high school sweethearts. Betty also leaves a daughter, Joy (John) Brozman of Canfield; a son, David of Poland; three grandchildren John David, Joshua and Jason of Canfield; a sister Edith Stroup of Poland; a brother Robert McDonald of Austintown; and a sister, Donna Aebischer of Poland. Friends may call from noon to 1 PM at the Cunninghamâa�"Becker Funeral Home, Poland with services following at 1PM.
