Betty L. Luke, 85, of Liberty, passed away Friday at her home.
She was born June 10, 1926 in East Palestine, a daughter of Ralph and Vera Olson Coleman .
She was a homemaker and a member of Christ Community Church where she was a greeter and worked in the kitchen
Her first husband, John M. Banfield, Sr. whom she married July 28, 1944 died Feb. 5, 1983 and her second husband Paul Luke whom she married June 9, 1990 died Oct. 17, 1991.
Surviving her is a daughter, Brenda L.(Russell) Niemi of Liberty, four step children, Becki (Edward) Chaffee of Boardman, George (Terri) Luke, and Tammie Luke both of Cary, NC and Mark (Karen) Luke of Boardman, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and three step grandchildren.. Also her friend and caregiver John Bishop.
Preceding Betty in death besides her parents and husbands are two sons, John M. Banfield Jr., and Jerry Banfield and a brother, Richard Coleman and a granddaughter Tracy.
Services will be held Saturday 11:00 am at Christ Community Church in Campbell, with the Interment to follow at Belmont Park Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman, Friday from 5-8pm and at the church on Saturday from 10-10:45am.
