Bettelou Pasky, 62 Poland- Bettelou Pasky, 62, of Roberto Place, died Thursday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Bettelou was born September 6, 1943 in Youngstown, a daughter of James and Virginia Sisco Welch. She was a life-long area resident. A 1961 graduate of South High School, Bettelou was employed as a Convalescent Aide Specialist and Purchasing Agent for Gold Cross Ambulance from 1976 until 1981. For many years Bettelou volunteered as a companion to the physically and mentally challenged youth. She volunteered for the YMCA and the American Cancer Society. Bettelou was an active member of Bethel Friends Church and especially enjoyed her position on the kitchen committee. She had many hobbies including needle point, cooking, sewing and decorating. Besides her husband, John Pasky whom she married June 1, 1963, she leaves two sons, David M. (Petra) Pasky of Struthers and Daniel M. (Matthew Levinson) Pasky of West New York, New Jersey; one brother, James Welch of Santa Anna, California; and three grandchildren, Sara, David and William. Besides her parents, Bettelou was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Martin. A funeral service will be held Saturday, 11:00 AM at Bethel Friends Church. Friends may call Saturday from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
