Boardman - Beth Joshua, 95, died Saturday morning, January 3, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. Joshua was born May 9, 1919 in Struthers, a daughter of John "Jack" and Harriet Cooper Myer. She lived in Poland most of her youth and then resided in Boardman most of her life.
She was a 1937 graduate of East High School. In October of 1938, she married her husband, Raymond Joshua, and became a dedicated homemaker.
Mrs. Joshua was a 75 year member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church and a member of the Poland Garden Club and Boardman Republican Women's Club.
Her husband, Raymond, preceded her in death on December 18, 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Heidi (Paul) Yoder of Westerville; son, David (Dolores) Joshua of Meadville, PA; two grandchildren, Aaron (Joyce) Joshua of Boardman and Rachel Cornell of Austintown; and four great-grandchildren, Alexys, Josh, Madison, and Samantha.
In addition to her parents and husband, Beth was preceded in death by her sister, Willa Wegele.
A funeral service will be held Monday at noon at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St, Poland, where family and friends will be received from 11-11:45 a.m., prior to the service. Interment will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
