Bernice Ellen âa�A"Bonnieâa�A� Hathhorn, 66 Canfield- Bernice Ellen âa�A"Bonnieâa�A� Hathhorn, 66, of 5201 Tippecanoe Road, died of cancer Tuesday afternoon at Hospice House. Bonnie was born July 25, 1941 in Larsen, Wisconsin, a daughter of Leonard and Viola Larson Larson. She lived in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania from 1975 to 1995, when she moved to the Boardman area. She had been a flight attendant with American Airlines before becoming a travel agent with Plaza Travel of Sharon from where she retired in 2003, after 20 years. Her travels took her to over thirty five countries, but her favorite destination was always Alaska, where she led many group tours. Bonnie was an active member of the Boardman United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the worship committee and the United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Kiwi Club of former American Airlines flight attendants. She leaves her husband, Thomas G. Hathhorn, whom she married May 1, 1965; a daughter, Gayle (Travis) Carter of Hilliard, Ohio; a son Jeffrey P. (Rachel) Hathhorn of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Theda (Abe) Eckstein of Larsen, Wisconsin, Judith Chance of Hilliard, Ohio and Gail (Lawrence) Blanton of Kerrville, Texas; and three grandchildren, Brooke Hathhorn and Briana and Mariah Carter. Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday July 5, 2008 at the Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market Street, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral.
