Bernice Goldie Boyles, 86 STRUTHERS-Bernice Goldie Boyles, 86, of 8 Spring St., died Saturday morning at Forum Health Northside Medical Center. Mrs. Boyles was born in Braxton County, West Virginia November 7, 1916, a daughter of Jesse and Ina White Brown. Her husband, Fred, whom she married January 5, 1937, died June 18, 1970. She came to Struthers in 1948. She worked as a seamstress at Interstate Latex in Struthers, working there until they went out of business. She was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church, where she served on the administrative board and attended the Fidelis Class. Bernice was also a member of the Womenâa�a��s Society, where she was two time President , the Rebecka Lodge, where she was past Noble Grand and in the Quilting Club, R.S.V.P., and the Quiltersâa�a��. She leaves two sons, Ray ( Margie) Boyles of Doniphan, Mo. and Edward (Kathy) Boyles of Struthers; a daughter-in-law Joyce Boyles of St. Charles, Mo.; one sister Martha Hornick (Sonny)of Fredrick,Maryland; four brothers, Dezeil Brown of Spring Hill, FL., Edsell (Wilda) Brown of Lost Creek, WV., Gary L. ( Charlene) Brown of Mitchelville, MD., and Delaine Brown of Florida; and three grandchildren, Bryan (Koryna), Eric, and Todd. She was preceded in death by one son, James Boyles; one daughter, Thelma Boyles; three brothers, Ernest, Jennings, and Charles Brown; and two sisters, Thelma and Helen Brown. Funeral Services will be held Monday 8:00PM at the Davidson- Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and Tuesday at 3:00 PM at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, Clarksburg, WV. Friends may call Monday from 4:00-7:45 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and Tuesday from 1-3 PM at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, Clarksburg.
