Beatriz B. Ballais

Struthers - Beatriz Buena Ballais, 93, passed away on March 22, 2024, in the comfort of her home. 

Beatriz was born August 29, 1930 in the Philippines, a daughter of Emiliano and Benita Requibo Buena.

A dedicated homemaker, Beatriz will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. After relocating to the United States, Beatriz and her husband, Pablo, lived many years in San Francisco, CA. After Pablo's passing, Beatriz moved to Ohio to live with her daughter Ma Alma. 

In her leisure time, Beatriz enjoyed sewing, reading the Bible, and loved dancing in her younger years. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. 

Beatriz is survived by five children, Ma Alma Wallace of Struthers, Ohio, Nancy Ballais, Alfredo (Hilda Yonson) Ballais, Rico (Chuchie Delgado) Ballais, Ranilo (Gay Arradaza) Ballais and daughter-in-law, Lourdes Ching, all of the Philippines; 26 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters.

In addition to her parents and husband, Beatriz was preceded in death by sons, Pablo (Erlinda Cayubit) Ballais, Jr. and Reynaldo Ballais; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Venture Church, 250 Idaho St., Austintown, OH 44515.
