Barbara A. Price, 79
YOUNGSTOWN - Barbara A. Price, 79, died Oct. 6, 2012, at Sunrise Assisted Living.
Mrs. Price was born Aug. 13, 1933, in Youngstown, a daughter of Thomas and Anne Laney Irving.
She was a 1951 Wilson High School graduate. Barbara was a homemaker and worked in the office at General Fireproofing for five years, retiring in 1956.
She was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian, the former Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon, as well as a lifelong member of the choir and went to the Sorosis Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Price was also a member of the Eastern Star Miriam Chapter No. 278 as well the Trias Chapter. She was an advisor with the Youngstown Rainbow Girls, where she was awarded the Grand Cross of Color for her service to the organization.
She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who always put others before herself.
Her husband, Richard, whom she married June 11, 1955, died Nov. 4, 2003.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda (David) Crish of Poland; one son, Scott (Karen) Price of Hubbard; and two grandchildren, Daniel C. Crish and Madeline A. Crish.
Besides her parents and husband, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, Robert G. Irving.
Services will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Matthews Road, Poland, OH 44514. Family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
