Barbara J. Donahue, 80, of York, PA., formerly of Poland, passed away Monday, October 27, 2008, at York Hospital. Barbara was born June 11, 1928 in Poland, a daughter of the late James and Emma (Wunderlich) Mound. She was raised in Poland and resided in Boardman until moving to York, PA 27 years ago. She was a 1946 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and was a homemaker. Barbara was a former member of the Poland United Methodist Church and St. James Episcopal Church in Boardman. Besides her husband, Charles Donahue, whom she married October 8, 1949; she leaves one son, David Donahue of Conneaut Lake, PA; one daughter, Cheryl Lundin of Boston, Mass; two grandchildren, Kelly and Kyle; two brothers, Charles and John Mound; and a sister, Caroline Johnson all in the Youngstown, Ohio area. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland with Pastor Michael Grant officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Poland.
