Barbara J. DeLisio

Barbara J. DeLisio, 69 Poland- Barbara J. DeLisio, 69, died Friday afternoon at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House. Barbara was born September 13, 1937 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Helen Renninger Ferenc. Barbara was a life-long area resident and had graduated from Lowellville High School in 1955. She worked at the Poland Public Library for over 15 years. As a homemaker, Barbara always enjoyed hosting family and friends; she enjoyed hiking outdoors and wintered frequently in St. Augustine, Florida where she enjoyed spending time with her Florida family. Barbara was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Her husband, Anthony DeLisio, whom she married April 21, 1956, died July 15, 2000. She leaves one daughter, Lisa DeLisio, of Boardman; one sister, Carol Shirley, of St. Augustine, FL; cousin, Robert Renninger, of Poland; two sister-in-laws, Mary (Chester) Palumbo, of Pittsburgh, PA., and Phyllis DeLisio, of Canfield; and fourteen nieces and nephews. Services will be Tuesday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Lowellville, with Father Gerald DeLucia officiating. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home.
