Barb Robinson

Poland - Barbara A. Robinson, 78, died Monday morning, September 7, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital, Boardman Campus, after a three month illness.
Mrs. Robinson was born June 1, 1937 in New Lebanon, PA, a daughter of Merle and Gladys Jewel McCartney.
She was a June 1955 graduate of Lakeview High School. After graduation, she married her husband, Gerald B. Robinson Jr., on July 3, 1955. In the early 60's they moved to Coitsville and later to Poland in 1969.
Mrs. Robinson worked alongside her husband at their family owned business, Custom Tarpaulin Products, Inc., on Southern Blvd. in Boardman. Barb was also a dedicated homemaker and centered her life around her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, on August 30, 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Richard) Gouldsbarry of Poland; a son, Brian (Beth) Robinson of North Lima; four grandchildren, Christy Gouldsbarry and Stephanie, Kristin, and Brian Robinson, Jr.; one great-grandchild, Brooklyn Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Barb was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Ed Waters.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at noon at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland. Interment will follow in the Poland Riverside Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 10-11:45 a.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
