Audrey Evril Pohlod, 69 Edinburg, PA- Audrey Evril Pohlod, 69, of 176 Baird Road died of cancer Friday morning at her residence. Mrs. Pohlod was born February 7, 1933 in London England a daughter of Reginald Sampson-Parkes and Frances Gilham. She graduated from a girlâa�a��s school in the Chelsea area of London. She came to North Olmstead, Ohio upon her arrival in the United States in 1953. She later lived in Kent and Youngstown before moving to Edinburg in 1968. She was a professional ice skater for six years, skating with the Tom Arnold Troupe of London and Holiday On Ice throughout Europe, performing in England, France, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Belgium and Spain. In the United States she had worked at the La Fontinella Restaurant, Enos Clothing and from 1986 to 1996 was the hostess at the Moonraker Restaurant. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Youngstown and itâa�a��s Young Couples Club, the Rayen Wives, and the Mohawk High School Band Mothers. She was an election judge for Mahoning Township. She was active in the Mahoning Presbyterian Church. She leaves her husband John Robert Pohlod whom she married September 26 1953; six sons, Robert M. (Susan) of Highland Ranch, Colorado, Matthew J. (Lori) of Lime Springs, Iowa, Mark S. (Tanya) of Aurora, Colorado, Paul M. (Beth) of Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, John A. (Sherry) of Warren, Ohio and James R. (Jennifer) of Streetsboro, Ohio; 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will at 11:00 AM Monday at the Mahoning Presbyterian Church. Friends may call from 2-4 and from 7-9 PM Sunday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and from 10:15 to 10:45 AM Monday at the church.
