Audrey S. Bennett, 71 Poland- Audrey S. Bennett, 71, of Oles Ave., died of breast cancer, Saturday, May 29, at Austinwoods Nursing Center. Mrs. Bennett was born September 10, 1931 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Arthur L. and M. Elinor Barrows Stainbrook. She was raised in Youngstown, in âa�a��58 moved to Boardman and resided later in Poland. She was a 1950 graduate from South High School and was a stenographer for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube and later worked security, part-time, at Strouss Time Office in Youngstown. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was in charge of the nursery and coffee hour. She was a charter Worthy Matron of the Lamp Light Chapter #152, O.E.S. in Poland, Ruth Shrine #64, O.E.S. of White Shrine of Jerusalem, and a member of the Columbiana Chapter #428, O.E.S. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the AARP Chapter #4545 of Boardman, a Democratic Poll Worker, a member of the South High School Alumni Association, and a member of Second Wind. She was an active volunteer for the Salvation Army. She is survived by one daughter, Sandra L. Bennett-Samuels of Poland; one son, Gregory L. Bennett of Boardman; one sister, Donna Lynch of Youngstown; and three grandchildren, Lee Autumn Samuels, Steven M. Bennett and Scott A. Bennett. Besides her parents, an infant brother, Richard Stainbrook, and sister, Joanne R. Caspary, preceded her in death. Memorial services will be Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army, Westside Chapel 6431 Mahoning Ave., Austintown.
