Attilio C. Colaluca

Poland - Attilio C. Colaluca, 92, died January 9, 2017 in the comfort of his home. He was born November 4, 1924 in Struthers, son of the late Carmine and Angela (Tamburro) Colaluca.
He was employed as a supervisor with Ohio Edison for 40 years, retiring in 1987. Attilio proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII and was a member of VFW Post #3585 in Struthers. He enjoyed dancing, traveling, golf and had a hole-in-one. He loved everything Italian and even visited his parents hometown in Italy.
He leaves his wife, Sophie (Gulas) Colaluca of Poland; his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and James Varga of Struthers and two grandchildren, James and Matthew Varga.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Fredricko, Caeser, Guilio and Thomasino Colaluca; and his sisters, Loretta Kresevich and Jeanie Cholakian.
Funeral services will be private for the family.
