Attelio âa�A"Teoâa�A� Antonio Marconi Teo Marconi passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2008 of complications from diabetes at the age of 81 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Teo, a longtime resident of Youngstown, Ohio was born on September 25, 1927, to Albert and Flora Marconi. He was a 1947 graduate of East High School. He spent two years in the Armed Services during which time he served as Master Sergeant in the Korean War and he also served as President of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union in Youngstown from which he retired in 1986. Teo married Kathryn Lucille Bart from Struthers, Ohio on April 24, 1954. After spending 32 years together with all of their family in Poland, Ohio, they relocated to Wellington, Florida, to be close to their children. Teo is survived by his wife, Kathryn, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Beth Marconi of Cape Coral, Florida, daughter, Janice Oâa�a��Neal of Boca Raton, Florida, daughters and son-in-laws, Jeanine and Rafael Heria and Jody and Socrates Romay of Wellington, Florida, as well as a sister and brother, Viola Celli and Albert Marconi both of Poland, Ohio. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Rafael Heria, Jack Oâa�a��Neal, Lisa Jakubuski, Paul Corner and three beautiful great-grandchildren. The Marconi family would like to invite family and friends to calling hours at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland on Thursday, November 13th, from 5-8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 14th, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. mass at Holy Family Church also in Poland. Teoâa�a��s final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery next to his loved ones who preceded him in death; his parents, Albert and Flora Marconi, and sister and brother-in-law, John and Gloria (Marconi) Rubosky. Teo had a unique ability to make long-lasting friendships wherever he went. In both work and play, he touched the hearts of many.
