Arlie Vance Russo, 63, passed away on July 17, 2008 from lung cancer at the Louis Stokes Veterans Medical Center in Cleveland with his family by his side. Arlie was born December 6, 1944 in Youngstown, a son of Vincent and Virginia (Willrich) Russo. He was a 1962 graduate of North High and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was honorably discharged in 1965 after serving stateside and in Europe. Arlie was employed by Allmark Stamp and Sales in Youngstown for 26 years. He also worked for Marathon Oil and Indalex Inc. Arlie enjoyed puzzles, the outdoors, cooking and his dogs, Lady Bird and Bridget. He was preceded in death by his parents; a step-mother, Lynn Russo; and a step-sister, Kathy Evans. He is survived by his four daughters, Denise Anne (Robert) Lias of Hubbard, Virginia Renee Russo of Brookfield, Paula Joy Russo of New York, NY and MariLyn Elizabeth Russo of Brookfield, as well as his former wife, Rae Jean (Rohrbaugh) Russo of Brookfield; a sister, Patricia Ann Johnston of Boardman; and three brothers, John (Kaye) Russo of Youngstown, Ron Russo of Hanford, California and Vincent (Marlene) Russo of Youngstown. He also leaves six grandchildren, Robbie, Tyler, Zac, Devin, Madison and Caitlyn, along with several nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be held. Please visit
