Antoinette M. Komara

Struthers - Antoinette M. Komara, 89, died on Thursday, September 22, 2016 in St. Elizabeth Heath Center in Youngstown. She was born August 2, 1927 in Youngstown to the late Domenic and Tomasina Dinunzio Rostier
Antoinette was employed as a sales clerk for Gray Drug Store for many years. She was an excellent cook and baker and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. She was an avid bowler and card player, loved her poker clubs and going to the casino. Antoinette will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother and sister.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Denise Komara of Struthers; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Clara Albanese of Ft. Myers, FL.; several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Komara Sr,; her son, Edward R. Komara, Jr.; her sister, Jennie LaMotta and her brother, Patrick Rostier.
A private memorial service will be held for the family at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
