Anthony âa�A"Tonyâa�A� Valentino, 95 Lowellville- Anthony âa�A"Tonyâa�A� Valentino, 95, of 156 Howard Street, died Friday morning at his residence. Mr. Valentino was born May 2, 1908 in Capodrise, Italy, a son of Angelo and Michela Mondo Valentino. He came to the United States and to Lowellville in 1955. He was a steelworker for Sharon Steel for 18 years retiring in 1970. He later worked for Insulated Glass in Lowellville. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bicycling. He was the first bicyclist to travel the Stavich Bike Trail. He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. His wife the former Raffaela DeDomenico whom he married November 31, 1930 died Ocotber 9, 1986. He leaves one daughter, Michela Sergi of Coitsville; one son, Patsy (Phyllis) Valentino of Lowellville; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Besides his parents and wife, five children and twelve brothers and sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Church. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
