Funeral Services will be held Friday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers for AJ Tice, 24, who became one of God's angels, Thursday December 5, 2013.
AJ was born October 23, 1989, in Struthers.
Raised in Struthers, AJ attended Struthers city Schools and was a roofer by trade, working for various companies in the area. AJ could do anything asked of him including being a cook and mechanic.
He played football for Struthers Little Wildcats and little league baseball. He was a member of the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts Troop 101.
AJ was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed playing his guitar and shooting pool. AJ enjoyed many things but while growing up his passion was skateboarding. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his niece Alyssa.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents, Theresa and Tim Klesch of Struthers and Kevin and Debbie Tice of Boardman; his sisters, Amber Pellice of Campbell, Amanda Tice of Struthers, Heather (Gabe) Rainwater of Fresno, OH, Becky Vantilburg of Salineville, and Alicia Vanwhy of New Kensington, PA.; his brothers, Tony (Jackie) Jarvis of Beaver Falls, Steve Baum of St. Petersburg, FL., and Bobby Phillips of Austintown; his grandmothers Dorothy Klesch of Idaho and Barb Pellice of Austintown; and his nieces and nephews. He also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his faithful companion "Seven".
AJ is preceded in death by his father Stephen Phillips, his grandparents, Anthony Pellice, Mary Pellice, Dorothy Pellice, Evelyn and Joseph Phillips, Vivian and Stanley Tice, and Thomas Klesch.
Family and Friends may call Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
