Anthony Colaneri, 87 Lowellville-Anthony Colaneri, 87, died Wednesday morning at Ridgecrest Nursing Home in Warren. Mr. Colaneri was born in Italy August 14, 1917, a son of George and Rose Iudicianni Colaneri. He came to the United States at the age of three and then to Lowellville in 1930. He worked at Youngstown Sheet and Tube as a Scarfer for 37 years, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during WWII. He leaves his wife the former, Sarah Luce, whom he married January 15,1942; a daughter, Beverly (Richard) Bisconti of Poland, OH, two sons, George Colaneri of North Lima and Ronald(Jacci) Colaneri of Struthers; 7 grandchildren, Gina, Lori, Toni Lynn, Anthony, Thomas, Jill, and Michael; and 4 great-grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Raymond, and Emily. He was preceded in death by one sister, Theresa Flora; and three brothers, Dominic, Guy, and Alfonsa Colaneri. Funeral services will be Saturday10:00AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30AM at Holy Rosary Church. Friends may call Friday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
