Anne M. Centofanti

Youngstown - Anne M. Centofanti, 93, of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Sunday, March 10, 2024. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph, whom she married on July 11, 1953.
 
Anne was born May 19, 1930 in Struthers, Ohio - a daughter of the late Gabriel and Octavia (Tullis) Trimacco.
 
Anne attended Struthers High School and worked for many local catering businesses in the area as well as General Fireproofing Company. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary Post 3538 of Struthers, North Side reunion group in Struthers, and several card clubs. You could often find her cheering on her favorite Cleveland teams - the Guardians and the Cavaliers. Anne had the joy of being the host of all the family gatherings, and it was something she always looked forward to. She loved to cook and bake, especially her famous Buckeye Cookies. Anne was always willing to welcome anyone into her home with open arms. Above all, she took great pride in being a grandma to her grandchildren.
 
Leaving behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Joyce (James) Eckman of Poland, Ohio, her son, Joseph (Marlana King) Centofanti of Berlin Center, Ohio, and three grandchildren: Brett Centofanti, Emily (Phillip) Eckman Krauss, and Elise (Ryan Sullivan) Eckman. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored as well as her childhood friend, Amelia Zalusky.
 
 Anne was welcomed home by her parents, husband, several nieces and nephews, and nine siblings: John Timarko, Ralph Trimacco, Carmen Trimacco, Victor Trimacco, Joseph Trimacco, Catherine Congemi, Antoniette Pirone, Rose Falasco, and Margaret Hanna.
 
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church with Fr. Philip Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Lowellville.
