Annabelle Demeny, 78 POLAND- Annabelle Demeny, 78, of 27 College St. died Tuesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mrs. Demeny was born in Poland December 29, 1925, a daughter of Frank and Julia Moner Demeny. She was a life long area resident. She worked at Pyramid Motor Dodge Dealership from 1950-1972. She then become owner and operator of Anneâa�a��s Frame Shop from 1972-2004. She was active in the Cleveland Browns George Bird Band and Musical Majorettes and the All Girl Band from 1947-1948. Mrs. Demeny enjoyed playing softball and golf, and bowling. She was inducted into the YWBA Bowling Hall of Fame in 2002. She also made trophies and plaques for the bowling association. She leaves one brother, Henry Demeny of Poland five nieces, Martha Ann Scott of Boardman ,Jill Demeny of New Orleans, Janice Arbogast, Judy Austin`, and Becky Weber all of the Cleveland area; and three nephews, Frank Day of Poland, Dave Demeny of Manassas ,VA, and Jeff Nagle of California; and several great- nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Martha Day, Wilma Loftus, Helen Bailey, and Margaret Nagle; and one brother, Arthur Demeny. There will be no services or calling hours. Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland.
