Anna Valerie Costello

Anna Valerie Costello, 92 Struthers- Anna Valerie Costello, 92, of Struthers passed away early Wednesday morning at her home. She came to the USA from Sicily in 1919. The oldest of five children, she lived with her parents, Charles and Calogera DeMarco Tomasino in Lowellville. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Society. She leaves behind six children; three daughters, Valerie (Bob) Witherow of Columbus, Gloriann Seacrist of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and Maryann (Bruce) Lucas of St. Louis, MO; three sons, Guy (Patricia) Costello of Poland, Charles Costello of Struthers, and Fred (Pam) Costello of Ravenna, OH; Twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Rita Retort, and Carmella Yanucci. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Nofiro (Fred); a brother, Frank Tomasino; and a sister, Mary Schiavello. She was an expert at crochet and sewing. She will be sadly missed by her family who will carry many loving memories of her in their hearts. Funeral services will be Monday, 12:00 PM at St. Nicholas Church in Sruthers. Friends may call at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, Sunday, 4-7 PM and Monday, 10:30-11:30 AM.
