Villa Maria - Anna Jeanette Campbell, 83, of Villa Maria, PA, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Villa Maria Apts. Mrs. Campbell was born November 1, 1923 in Unity, Ohio, a daughter of Robert and Gladys Beight Smith. She lived all of her life in Petersburg until moving to Villa Maria over a year ago. Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Springfield Local High School and was a homemaker. She was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church in Petersburg, where she was active for many years as an organist, sang in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher. She is currently a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxilliary of the Petersburg Fire Department and a former Camp Fire Leader. She enjoyed cards and was a member of various card clubs, loved to babysit, and enjoyed music. Mrs. Campbell especially loved to visit with her family and friends. Her husband, Clarence "Bill" Campbell, whom she married March 27, 1943, died August 17, 1989. She leaves one son, Lyle Campbell of Albion, NY; one daughter, Gladys (Skip) Barone of Lowellville; five grandchildren, Brian Barone of Orlando, FL, Philip Campbell of Albion, NY, Ryan Campbell of Morgantown, WV, Jodi (Chuck) Coleman of Hilliard, OH, and Jeff (Theresa) Barone of Canfield; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Abbey, Vince, Hannah, and Emma. She also leaves serveral neices and nephews, including her "adoptive son," John Crawford of Lisbon. Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by one son, Carl Campbell and one sister, Eileen Crawford . A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville with Fr. Gerald DeLucia officiating. There are no calling hours. Condolences may be sent at
