Columbiana- Ann Sepic, 96, formerly of Lowellville, went home to be with Jesus, early Monday morning, June 25, 2012 at the Hospice House.
Mrs. Sepic was born June 30, 1915 in Bessemer, PA, a daughter of Anton "Tony" and Bettina "Elizabeth" (Kinkela) Katich. She lived much of her life in Mount Jackson, where she raised her family. She later moved to Lowellville for many years and most recently was living in Whispering Pines Assisted Living Village in Columbiana.
Mrs. Sepic was a strong and independent woman who was always up for an adventure and usually had more energy than anyone else. She loved polka music, gardening, wildlife, and watching birds.
She is survived by three children, Marlene Bensky of New Middletown, Geraldine (Val) Pagnotta of Hillsville, PA and Dave (Jill) Felix of Poland; brother, Adolph (Millie) Katich of Mount Jackson, PA; seven grandchildren, Sherry (Dana) Byers of North Lima, Terri (Marty) Bartell of New Lenox, IL, Tammy Sawyer of Mogadore, Pat Pagnotta of Hillsville, PA, Dean (Julie) Pagnotta of Struthers, Sara (Travus) Rolland of Struthers, and Jonathan Felix of Denver, CO; six great-grandchildren, Grant Bartell, Jenna Sawyer, PJ Pagnotta, Nicky Pagnotta, Nataley Rolland, and Rexton Rolland; and four nieces and nephews, Kathy Paulenich, Randy Paulenich, Ron (Kathy) Katich, and Debbie (Steve) Moyer.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andy Felix in 1980 and second husband, John Sepic in 2001; sister, Sauvi Paulenich; great-grandson, Kevin Jackson; son-in-law, Richard Bensky, and nephew, Gary Paulenich.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Mt. Jackson Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Mrs. Sepic's name to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, Ohio 44514.
