STRUTHERS - Ann M. Lengyel, 92, died June 24, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center.
Mrs. Lengyel was born Jan. 19, 1920, in Youngstown, a daughter of Walter and Barbara Gorjanec Marovich.
She was a member of Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She also was a member of the Struthers VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was involved in the Struthers PTA and Band Boosters. Ann loved playing cards with her family and friends.
Her husband, James, whom she married June 1, 1946, died Nov. 12, 1977.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Ron) Kukura of Poland; a son, James Lengyel of Struthers; a brother, Steve (Lucy) Marovich of Hubbard; four grandchildren, Robert "Bo," Brian and Tom Kukura, all of Poland and Sherri (Vince) Bode of Cincinnati; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Megan Bode; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, Ann was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and John Marovich; and two sisters, Katie and Mary Marovich.
There will be no calling hours or services per Ann's wishes.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.
