Ann S. Kwiecien, 80, died Oct. 7, 2016 at the Hospice House with her loving son by her side. Ann was born Feb. 16, 1936 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert and Wilma Clark Percy.

She graduated from South High School in 1954 and Cosmetology Choffin School. She was a member of Boardman United Methodist Church, where she received special mission recognition award in 2006. Ann was coordinator of the Acolyte Program for over 25 years. She was on worship committee, Altar Guild, and Pastoral Care Committee's. Ann was a member U.M.W, Mary Circle, program committee chair person for membership, and was involved with nurture and outreach, and was supply chair person for the kitchen. She was a member and Past Vice President of Boardman Historical Society and Past Vice President of Poland AARP. Ann was also was a member of Large Garden Forum, Friends of the Boardman Library.

She was a volunteer for Goodwill Industries Guild, where she had been Vice President and Treasurer. Ann also volunteered at the VA Outpatient Clinic on Belmont. Recently she received a key to the city for her volunteer hours at the Senior Independence Center of Fifth Ave. presented by Mayor McNally.

She was a tap dancer with the Romeo's Juliette Dancers from Tony Romeo's Dance Studio and Follies and Friends. Ann put on shows all over Youngstown and Pennsylvania. Most recently, she was a tap dancer and line dancer at the Senior Independence Center.

Her favorite past time was gardening, especially mini roses and won many awards at the Canfield Fair for flowers and arrangements, where she also volunteered in Floral Department at fair.

Her husband, Henry "Hank", whom she married Oct. 16, 1954, died Sept. 6, 2011.

She is survived by one son, James Robert Kwiecien of Boardman.

A private graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Arrangements are being handled by Davis-Becker Funeral Home, Boardman.
