Ann (Myers) Heltzel

Ann Heltzel, 74, died early Monday morning, October 9, 2017 at her home, after a battle with cancer.

Ann was born September 14, 1943 in Youngstown, a daughter of William Myers Sr. and Rose (Stacchiotti) Linebaugh.

Raised in Girard, she was a 1961 graduate of Girard High School. In her early years, she worked as a waitress for Foster's Restaurant in Girard, until becoming a dedicated homemaker.

In her free time, Ann enjoyed watching baseball, basketball, and NASCAR. Her biggest joy came from spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her husband, Jeff Heltzel, whom she married December 20, 1991; her daughter, Kim (Nick) Rock of Hubbard; step-daughter, Jenny Cole of Newport News, VA; three sisters, Sherry (Pete) Williams of Tampa, FL, Jackie (Brad) Stone and Cecelia (Ron) Myers, all of Youngstown; two brothers, Frank (Lucinda) Myers and Joseph Myers, all of Youngstown; two grandchildren, Brienna Rock of Hubbard and Reyna Guerrero of Newport News, VA; special niece, Heather Dial of Struthers; and dear friend, Nikki Dobson of Austintown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Lawrence Myers; sister, Kaylene Dial; and her step-father, Clyde Linebaugh.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-5:45 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers, where a memorial service will follow on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
