Struthers - Ann Burris, 80, of Struthers, passed away early Thursday morning at her daughter's home in Struthers. Ann, also known as Honey, was born December 28, 1927 in Canfield, a daughter of Steve and Katherine Sophie Stas Parry. She attended Canfield High School and was an assistant manager for Catherine's Stout Shop in Boardman for 14 years, retiring in 1988. Ann was associated with Canfield Jehovah's Witnesses. She was a member of the Struthers Ladies Card Club. Ann's hobbies included country music, embroidery, bowling, and bingo. She was an avid fan of Tiger Woods and the Cleveland Indians. Her husband, Glenn Burris, whom she married June 19, 1948, passed away January 17, 1980. She leaves her five children, Darlene (Fred) Rowland of Galloway, OH, Glenn (Patti) Burris of Hartville, OH, Tina (Joe) Thomas with whom she resided with, Roslyn (Bill) Wilson of Youngstown, and Nola (Cory) Skipper of Boardman. Besides her children, she leaves her brother, Steve (Mary) Parry Jr. of Canfield; ten grandchildren, Tiffany Nida, Glenn Burris, Paige Rowland, Luke Burris, Lindsey Sayre, Diane Mitchell, P.J. Thomas, Kenneth Wilson, Brett Wilson, and Alan Skipper. Also three great-grandchildren, Devon and Kylee Mitchell and Draven Burris. Besides her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by her three brothers, William, Edward, and George Parry. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, with Bob Busek officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown. Friends will be received Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512.
