Anita C Jacobson

October 11, 1931 — May 16, 2015

Boardman-Anita C. Jacobson, 83, formerly of Poland, died Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the comfort of her home. She was born in New Castle, PA on October 11, 1931 to the late Joseph and Lora Hensley.

She was a longtime member of Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church and remained a member as the church merged with Heritage Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the International Order of Eastern Star Lamplight Chapter. Anita enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, reading and being outdoors. She retired from the Mahoning County Public Library in 1995, following 18 years of employment.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Jacobson in 2004; her brother, Joseph R. Hensley and her great granddaughter, Gabriella.

She leaves her children, Linda (David) Watts of Poland, Cheryl (Frank) Saulino of Nashville, TN, Susan (Fred) Puglia of Poland and Harry W. (Karen Siefert) Jacobson Jr of Nederland, CO; grandchildren, Jason Hutton, Candace Bouvy, Ashley Hutton, Leanne Macovitz, Lindsay Watts and Talon Saulino; great grandchildren, Carolyne, Blake, Elijah and Isabella; her sister, Patricia Lyons and brother, Sam Hensley.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11am at Heritage Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Kristin Stroble officiating. Burial will follow in Lake Park Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 6-8pm at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St. Struthers, and prior to the service from 10-10:45am at the church.

The family asks that any memorial donations be made to Heritage Presbyterian Church or to Hospice of the Valley.
