Youngstown - Alvin Kozic, 59, died January 10, 2017 at his residence. Alvin was born September 30, 1957 in Youngstown, a son of Zoltan Sr. and Wilma Flisar Kozic.
Alvin was an avid sports fan and cheered on the Oakland Raiders, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox. Alvin would have all the answers to any sports trivia question. He also loved music particularly from the 60-70's era.
He is survived by two brothers, John Kozic of Lowellville and Zolton Kozic, Jr. of New Middletown; two nieces; three nephews; and 8 great nices and nephews; and close friends, Herb Ebner, Steve Cipot, and Gary Brooks.
Besides his parents, Alvin was preceded in death by one brother, Stevie Kozic; and a infant sister.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Interment will follow at Lowellville Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received prior to the service from 10-10:45AM.
