Leetonia- Alvie B. Graham entered eternal rest on April 14, 2015. He was born on June 23, 1929 in Sagamore, PA to the late David and Virginia Allison Graham.
Following his discharge from the Navy in 1952, he was employed as an extrusion die maker. He then went to work for GM Lordstown as a tool & die maker, retiring in 1991.
Alvie was a member of Poland United Methodist Church, Poland Lodge #766 F&AM and belonged to Aut Mori Grotto. He was past Watchman of Shepherds of Ruth Shrine, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and past Worthy Patron of Lamplight Chapter/Miriam Chapter Order of the Eastern Star.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Vada Graham, whom he married July 12, 1955; two sons, Bernard B. Graham of Salem and Thomas J. (Pam) Graham of East Palestine; one daughter, Tammy A. (Bill) Creighton of Struthers; his brother-in-law, Thomas (Marlene) Cutlip and one sister-in-law, Lulu Ann Bernardich; seven grandchildren, Tabitha Patrone, Kristen Graham, Thomas (Belva) Graham Jr, Corey Clements, Caden, Carter and Cooper Creighton; two great grandchildren, Taymer Graham and Michael Patrone as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers, Louis, Wilbert, William and Robert; and three sisters, Dorothy, Bernice and Francis.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10am at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St. Poland, with Pastor Michael Grant and Pastor Susan Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park in Beloit, OH. Friends and family may call today from 5-7pm at the funeral home, where Poland Lodge #766 will conduct a Masonic service at 7pm.
