Alma Jean Foulke Wolf Reedy, 88 of Youngstown, died April 8, 2016 at the Humility House in Austintown. She was born June 4, 1927 in Youngstown, daughter of the late Charles and Lida May Williams Foulke.
Jean graduated from South High School with the January class of 1946. She was employed with General Motors and Greenwood Chevrolet. Her greatest accomplishment was raising her seven children, mostly as a single mother.
She will be whole heartedly missed by her children, Terrence Wolf of Land-O-Lakes, FL, Nancy (Robert) Johnson of Austintown, Barbara (John) VanKirk of Austintown, Sue (Bob) Cover of Mineral Ridge, Keith Wolf of Austintown, Kenny (Dixie) Wolf of Dayton and very special "daughters" Peggy Morley and Nadine Hayes. Missing her even more will be her grandchildren and great grandchildren, Scott and Amy Wolf, Demi and Cameo Frantz, Terra and Steve Mandel, Kylie and Carson Lancashire and Jake Mandel, Robert and Sherry Johnson and Samantha and Bobby Johnson, Scott and Phai Johnson, Johnny, Ashley, John III, Zack and Quentin VanKirk, Rena VanKirk and Naomi Hennen, Melissa and Savanah Hill, Tom, Tori and Dakota Kean, Danielle and Bill Garland, Lorileigh Cover and Camryn Garland, Melissa Cover, Donnie Cover, Faith Natoli, Joshua Cover, Nichole and Justin Wagner, Catlyn Walker and Theresa Rosado; her sister Donna Lou Salyard of Niles and numerous nieces and nephews who also thought of her as "Mom" and three great great grandchildren that will never know her loving touch.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W Reedy; her son, George Wolf; four brothers, Charles Richard Foulke, William Harvey Foulke, Charles Spencer Foulke II and Thomas Martin Foulke; seven sisters, Gladys Pearl Foulke, Elizabeth Belle Finnie, Roe Ella McEaneney, Martha Leticia Miller, Margaret Louise Snow, Iva June Yuhas and Joy May Vernarsky and three foster sisters, Helena Haig, Della Ralty and Lena Rossler
In honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours and services will be private for the family.
The family asks that any donations be made to Akron Children's Hospital, 8423 Market St. Suite 300 Youngstown, OH 44512.
Interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery.
