Struthers - Alice J. Mullenax, 73, of Struthers, died February 24, 2011 at the Hospice House.
Mrs. Mullenax was born February 25, 1937 in Connellsville, PA, a daughter of Theodore and Margaret Herwick Mickey. She moved to the Youngstown area over 45 years ago.
She was a graduate of Connellsville High School and worked as a case worker for the Mahoning County Welfare Department more than 10 years.
Mrs. Mullenax was a member of Simon Road Church of God. She enjoyed bowling and was formerly a member of several leagues.
Her husband, Milton G. Mullenax, whom she married December 12, 1986, died December 23, 1998. She leaves her son, Kevin (Rebecca) Mickey of Wellsville; two brothers, Donald (Barb) Mickey of Boardman and Robert Mickey of North Royalton; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Schobert; and two sisters, Joanne Brittner and infant Donella Mickey.
