Alice Rosalie Morell

Struthers - Alice Rosalie Morell, 76, of Struthers, died peacefully on February 2, 2015 at Vista Care Center of Boardman.
Miss Morell was born June 8, 1938 in Struthers, a daughter of the late Peter and Esther Latore Morell. She graduated in 1956 from Struthers High School and attended Lewis Weinberger and Hill Cosmetology School. She worked as a beautician for many years in the Boardman area. She owned and operated her own hair salon, Alice Morell's Hairstyling. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. Alice enjoyed cooking and baking. Everyone raved about her famous Kolachi and very often she was asked to cater for many of her client's parties. She was especially fond of her beloved dog "Jiggs."
She is survived by her oldest brother Donald T. (Mary) Morell, Sr. of Struthers, and her twin brother Robert A. (Veronica) Morell of Boardman, seven nieces and nephews; Cathi (Mike) Peterson, Peter (Judy) Morell, Donald (Diane) Morell, Jr., Joan Morell, Toni (Tom) Root, Caroline Lupo, and Patrice (Joseph) Loree, thirteen great nieces and nephews, two great-great nephews, and numerous cousins.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 12:00 noon at Christ Our Savior Parish at St. Nicholas Church in Struthers with Father Bernard Gaeta officiating. Friends and family will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the church.
The family would like to thank the staff of Vista Care Center for their kind and caring service to Alice during her stay.
Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker funeral home in Struthers.
